The 9 bestpadel rackets for women

Padel rackets for women: nine lighter models from Siux, adidas, Bullpadel, Babolat, HEAD, Drop Shot and Nox, compared on power, control, comfort, sweet spot and handling.

Updated: November 2026By Timo, PadelradarNot a lab test — a comparison built from product data and reviews

A women's racket isn't a men's racket painted pink. Most models for women are 10 to 20 grams lighter, often a little less head-heavy and have a softer core. That makes them quicker at the net and kinder to your shoulder and elbow. Of course you can play with any other racket too; what matters is weight, balance and core hardness, not the label.

For this list I picked the nine best rackets from my comparison of 48 current models that are either built specifically for women or particularly suitable because of their weight: from the Bullpadel Indiga W at around €70 to the rackets of Delfina Brea, Alejandra Salazar and Marta Ortega. You'll find the right shoes on my list of the best padel shoes.

    • Cons
    • Needs clean technique
    • Firm feel is less forgiving off-centre

My verdict: The Valkiria Pro does everything well without overdoing anything: enough power to finish, lots of control and quick handling. In return it asks for clean technique. If you play at a good level and want one racket for every situation, it's my first pick; the adidas Cross It Light is more forgiving.

    • Not for power-first players

My verdict: The Cross It Light is light, head-light and round, built for quick hands at the net and safe balls from defence. It won't help you much on the smash. If your game is built on control and speed at the net, I'd choose it.

  3. 03Bullpadel Vertex 05 W
#3 · Best for attacking players

    Bullpadel Vertex 05 W 2026

    • Natural bandejas and víboras
    • Cons
    • Not a brute-force smasher
    • Head-heavy balance demands good technique

My verdict: The Vertex 05 W is a diamond that plays lighter and softer than its shape suggests. It rewards bandejas and víboras more than the flat-out smash. If you want to attack at the net and your technique is solid, it's my first pick; the Bullpadel Flow Legend is a similarly soft alternative.

  4. 04Bullpadel Flow Legend
#4 · Best value pro model

My verdict: The Flow Legend is a comfortable diamond that delivers power without much effort and stays pleasantly soft. You give up a little control and defensive security. As it's currently heavily discounted, it's the best-value pro model for attacking players in my view.

    • Cons

    • Less stable against hard-hit balls

My verdict: The Air Vertuo 2.6 is built for quick hands: light, manoeuvrable and with enough power without a big backswing. Against hard-hit balls and in defence it lacks some stability. I'd choose it if you love playing at the net and want a soft racket.

    • You have to supply pace from the back

My verdict: At around 340 g the Radical Team Light is the lightest racket on this list, and it's pleasant to play. It helps with control and handling but hardly with pace. If a light racket matters more to you than power, I'd take it.

My verdict: The Explorer Soft Woman sits between comfort and power: enough punch to attack, yet comfortable enough for long matches. It rarely wins the point overhead. I'd choose it if you want more power than a pure control racket offers; the Babolat Air Vertuo 2.6 is cheaper.

My verdict: The Indiga W is a simple, soft start for little money: round, head-light and pleasant to play. It offers little for attacking and fast volleys. For your first months I'd recommend it without hesitation; if you want an even lighter racket that also suits intermediates, look at the HEAD Radical Team Light.

My verdict: The X-One Silhouette is a round starter racket with a carbon frame that still suits you as you move towards intermediate level. My assessment here rests only on retailer specs, as independent reviews are still missing. If you'd rather rely on better-documented data, the Bullpadel Indiga W is the alternative.

What makes a women's padel racket different

  • Weight: usually 330 to 360 grams instead of 355 to 375 grams. The lightest racket on this list, the HEAD Radical Team Light, starts at 330 grams.
  • Balance: often slightly lower, so the racket feels lighter and is quicker to swing.
  • Core: often softer, so that shots without much power behind them still get pace.

The pros' models are lighter too, but they're not comfort rackets. The Bullpadel Vertex 05 W and the Flow Legend are diamonds with high balance, in other words genuine attacking rackets.

What weight is right?

For most women the right weight is between 340 and 360 grams. Lighter means quicker at the net and less strain on the arm; heavier means more stability at impact and more punch. If you're just starting out or have elbow problems, go for the lighter end. If you've been playing for a long time and attack a lot, you can go heavier.

Check the balance as well: a head-heavy racket at 350 grams feels heavier than an evenly balanced one at 360 grams.

For beginners, intermediate and attacking players

Beginners: the Bullpadel Indiga W and the Nox X-One Silhouette. Both are round, with a large sweet spot, and cost under €90.

Intermediate: the Babolat Air Vertuo 2.6 for fast net play, the HEAD Radical Team Light as the lightest racket on the list and the Drop Shot Explorer Soft Woman for comfortable power.

Ambitious players: the Siux Valkiria Pro as the best all-rounder, Marta Ortega's adidas Cross It Light for control, and the two Bullpadel diamonds, the Vertex 05 W and the Flow Legend, for attacking players.

How I chose

I compared 48 padel rackets available in Germany and Spain in November 2026 and, for this list, chose models that manufacturers build for women or that are particularly light at no more than 365 grams. My sources are the manufacturers' product pages, independent reviews from major padel magazines and shops, player reports and the prices of large retailers on 2 November 2026.

The scores from 1 to 10 for power, control, comfort, sweet spot and handling are my own assessment, not a lab test. For this list I gave handling and comfort slightly more weight. Half points show where two rackets are very close. Prices are street prices and vary from retailer to retailer.

Frequently asked questions about padel rackets for women

›What is the best padel racket for women?

In my comparison the Siux Valkiria Pro comes out on top: teardrop shape, 350 to 360 grams, good control and very good handling. For more control, Marta Ortega's round adidas Cross It Light is a good fit, and for beginners the Bullpadel Indiga W at around €70.

›How heavy should a women's padel racket be?

For most women 340 to 360 grams. Beginners and players with a sensitive arm should go for the lighter end; experienced attacking players can use 360 grams or more. Also check the balance: head-heavy rackets feel heavier.

›Can women play with men's rackets?

Yes. There's no technical difference; only weight, balance and hardness count. Many women play with rackets that don't carry a women's label, such as the Nox AT10 or the HEAD Radical. What matters is that the weight and balance suit your arm.

›What is the lightest women's padel racket?

On this list it's the HEAD Radical Team Light at 330 to 350 grams, followed by the Babolat Air Vertuo 2.6 at 335 to 355 grams. Both are very manoeuvrable and well suited to fast net play.

›Which rackets do the women pros play?

Delfina Brea plays the Bullpadel Vertex 05 W, Alejandra Salazar the Bullpadel Flow Legend and Marta Ortega the adidas Cross It Light. The two Bullpadel rackets are diamonds for attacking players; the adidas is round and built for control.
